 For the convenience of its guests, Flamingo Marina Resorts offers a daily mini-van shuttle service to and from the three main airports servicing the country and local area.
For the traveler waiting to see as much of the countryside as possible, the Resort is approximately 4 hours north of San Jose on a perfect condition paved road. Scheduled and charter air service is also available to Flamingo from San Jose by local airlines landing on Liberia International Airport, 50 minutes away from the Resort or to Tamarindo Airstrip, 20 minutes away. This service is relatively inexpensive and worth checking out before you decide to drive. Departure times and prices are as listed below:

For those guests who choose to rent a vehicle and make the drive on their own, there are many highly visible road signs to guide the way as well as ample free parking once they arrive. For those guests who are uncertain about renting a vehicle, there are several leasing companies in the local area. There is also a daily bus service to and from San José plus other parts of the country.
